VALLEY VOICES
NEWS # 46
August 17, 2006
While many of you have been busy squishing earwigs and looking for recipes for tomato hornworms, your Directors and volunteers have been busy arranging events and raising funds.
Community associations such as Valley Voices can never stop.
They go through stages of panic, anxiety, disappointment, temporary satisfaction, feverish work, optimism - and waiting.
Well, things are heating up again.

OUR COFFERS
Our recent letter campaign raised $11,450 from 32 households. This is most encouraging and your community thanks you.
The Art Auction raised $9000.
With pledges to come, the Poker Run, and the Golf Tourney,
we expect to have some $27 000 by September 30.
For those 60 + member/households who haven't yet responded
to the letter/email campaign, please do so asap.
This is for the OMB Fund.
We have raised a lot; we have to raise even more!
