DEC. 22, 2005 ... MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!
A BULLETIN FROM CHUCK SHOOK OF VALLEY VOICES:
"Terry (Korotki, the Township Clerk) just called to tell me that all items involving SVA are off the agenda tonight. (DECEMBER 21)
Cramahe did not pass their bylaw.
They had a problem with the road agreement and SVA's lawyer is away until the New Year."
Thanks, Chuck
THIS IS FROM CHUCK SHOOK AFTER ATTENDING THE MEETING:
After the call from Terry I was surprised to see John Morgan (owner of SVA) and his lady friend appear.
When the bylaw came up on the agenda Terry stated that the wording was questioned by Cramahe's Lawyer and that SVA's lawyer would not be available until the new year.
Cramahe did not pass their bylaw.
Fairbrother, A-H's lawyer, told Terry that Council should defer the zoning until the next meeting.
If council wished it could deal with the other bylaws.
They wished to proceed and they were added to the agenda.
So the Development Agreement 102-2005 was read and passed with a recorded vote. All present voted yes. (Councillor Harnden is ill.)
The Financial Agreement 105-2005 was read and passed with a recorded vote. All present voted yes.
The zoning 9-2005 will be changed to 10-2006, will be circulated and will be on the agenda Jan 25, 2006.
It is my understanding that SVA cannot proceed with the licence application until they have Zoning and have completed all the agreed to items above.
Council's recorded vote shows to us they are 100% for the Pit.
I MADE NO COMMENTS TO COUNCIL
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
