Alnwick-Haldimand Council meeting Aug 20, 8:30
to discuss Traffic Impact Study and other issues relating to
the gravel pit and it's impact on our community

Are you aware that hundreds of trucks will travel year round,
13 hours a day, 6 days a week on ANY road they choose?

What can you do? Feeling helpless to stop this??

1. Write Council IMMEDIATELY (must be delivered by Aug.18)
  • Express your opposition to the pit in general
  • Demand a traffic impact study on your road
    and all other roads you travel, mentioning your concerns re:
-road conditions
-steep hills
-school bus routes (danger, flying gravel, speed, etc.)
-blind intersections and entranceways
-express your refusal to pay increased taxes for road maintenance and upgrades

2. Attend the meeting on Wed. Aug. 20, 8:30
at the Satellite Office, 9059 County Road 45, Roseneath
