The letter writing campaign regarding the traffic impact study
and peer review was a success. Council received over 50 letters in this regard
and has agreed to allow Valley Voices
to be involved in the process and have direct input.

WELL DONE!

As a result of the letters, members of council have taken notice
that residents have concerns about so many trucks travelling local roads.

NOW

We must write again to express to council
that not only are we very concerned about the trucks,
but that we first and foremost
DO NOT WANT A PIT IN SHELTER VALLEY, PERIOD.

• property values=loss of tax dollars
• loss of quality of life, loss of tourism
• effects on the environment, noise, hydrology
• destruction of the natural beauty of Shelter Valley
